MONEY REALLY MATTERS

So many things to consider like child-care cost for the younger ones, university fees for the older ones,  food and clothing for our growing gifts, school trips, after school activities, summer vacation phew the steam is blowing hard....

First we were two but now there is only one of us. The main question at the heart of every widow is HOW DO I MANAGE ON MY OWN with the kids. Yes reality has now kicked in that you are a lone parent, and you have so many decisions to make. Ok slow down, take a deep breathe God is still on the throne. Firstly let's remember what God has said about us.

Matthew 6:26-27

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

We thank God for our jobs, however there are other things we can do to boost our incomes. Each of us have been gifted, and the bible lets us know that our gifts will make way for us and bring us before great men..(Proverbs 18:16)  But you say "I don't know what my gift is" but I say yes you do and it's within, it's that thing that gets you all excited, that thing you will wake up to do with or without pay. I recollect whilst I was still in mourning and seeking God's direction on my next move he opened my heart to another gift and I started hampering. You see the devil's plan is to keep us tied down in self pity and confusion so we loss focus and derail, but God's plans for us is that we prosper.  He is our father and is job is to provide for us, however we must be faithful too.

Proverbs 11:24
"One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want."

Keep moving sisters the best is still yet to come, and  God will raise destiny helpers for us. We are paving the way for our children and so however we deal with our today's challenges will determine how well they cope with the challenges of life. Life will hand you something everyday we must take what we can from it and let go of what we can't and keep moving. I know God within us will propel us even further by his grace.

I still wonder, while Kayode was alive both Salaries were not almost enough, how will i cope now.But along the line God showed me the secrets of giving,i discovered that God blesses more in our giving habits. He has since been faithful and i know that despite all odds he will not leave us (apple of his eyes) to lack good things.
